The SGM37380YG is a high efficiency 8-string white-LED driver with low-headroom voltage for LED regulation and small on-resistance of switching MOSFET. The SGM37380YG operates from 2.5V to 12V input voltage, and is capable of driving up to 10 LEDs in series for 30mA maximum LED current per string while achieving high conversion efficiency.
An adaptive current-regulated method allows different LED string voltages while LED current remains in regulation. The LED current is programmed through an I2C interface or through a PWM signal input. These features make it optimized for compact solutions and ideal for LCD display backlighting.
The SGM37380YG features I2C dimming mode, PWM dimming mode and I2C × PWM dimming mode setting via brightness control register LED_MOD[1:0] bits.
The SGM37380YG is available in a Green WLCSP- 1.7×2.4-20B package. It operates over the -40℃ to +85℃ temperature range.
